On May 4th, the Oracle community came together in Orlando, Florida for Collaborate 09, its the most important grass roots gathering of the year.

This is the fourth time that the IOUG, OAUG, and Quest have joined forces to host this all-inclusive conference. As expected, attendance is down this year, but that does not make the event any less important.

With more and more people forced to do more with less, Collaborate is one of the most cost-effective ways for Oracle professionals to educate themselves. Collaborate has always served as an education vehicle for the Oracle community, and this year that role becomes more prominent.

IT Convergence began contributing to this process by delivering 4 “Master Sessions” at Collaborate 2006, which was the first annual Collaborate conference. IT Convergence strengthened our presence at Collaborate 07 when we invited users to “Get Expertise from the Aces” during the 14 presentations given by the ITC team.  One year later, at Collaborate 08, IT Convergence called on everyone to “Achieve Peak Performance,” as our team delivered 17 presentations.

This year ten of our functional, technical, and business experts are delivering presentations that are tuned to the times. The ITC team’s presentations are focused on helping companies find ways to use technology to navigate the difficult economy.

This means that ITC’s sessions will help you find out more about Business Intelligence solutions, improving debt collections with R12, as well as an inside view into how IT Convergence gains competitive advantage through Oracle.
